To Create an Event

Follow these steps to create an event.
  1. From the ALIM Web Create new card, select Event. The Create an Event page appears. For example,
  2. Select the event template that you want to use, and then click Create and edit.
    Tip: You can filter the list of templates by entering text into one or more of the Name, Description, or Classification fields.
    The Event page opens in Edit mode.
  3. On the Overview tab, enter or update any relevant information.
    Note: Data fields will vary, depending on the template.
  4. If the event is a data driven event, a Related Objects tab appears for assigning any related objects to the event as well as one additional tab appears per Step in the workflow. Populate relevant data as assigned.
    Note: For Data Driven Processes, the visible layout sections will depend on the workflow configuration and the active step, if any.

  5. When you are finished, click Save and close ( ).
